Tribute to Dr. Gabriela Hassel


Latin American Colleagues,


As part of volume 91 (3-4) of the journal Nova Hedwigia, we organized a humble tribute posthumously to Dr. Hassel Menendez, with emphasis on the study of bryophytes Hemisphere South. Hassel Dr. Menendez has been a great source of inspiration and mentor to many American students, and always had great praise from bryologists worldwide.


The volume contains the biography and articles published during his productive career. Here is a sample list of papers in the volume.
